Making customer interactions fast and easy—without requiring any new hardware.
The project proved to be a bit of a puzzle:
The updated interface needed to be different enough to have a tangible impact, but not so much as to alienate existing customers.
The new design also had to appeal to an extremely broad audience.
Any changes the design team made to the interface had to be compatible with the existing hardware of all of the ATMs in operation nationwide.
